Mystery by the Sea is a chapter of the national Sisters in Crime (SinC) organization. We serve the Tidewater and Eastern Shore areas of Virginia, and the Inner Banks of North Carolina. We adhere to the SinC mission statement, which is: “To promote the professional development and advancement of female crime writers.”
Our membership spans the mystery-writing spectrum, from multi-published authors to MFA students to people just thinking about writing. This includes females and males (known as “misters”).
Membership to Mystery by the Sea is open to anyone with an interest in writing and who is a member of the national organization of Sisters in Crime.
Chapter dues are $10 per year, plus $40 for Sisters in Crime National. For more information, contact Teresa at firstname.lastname@example.org.
